Emily Harding

Operations

Emily ensures the efficient functioning of the +MORE Group, providing vital support across planning, operations, project management, and risk & compliance.

What excites Emily most about her role is the opportunity to make a difference, helping the +MORE Group operate at its best.

Outside work, Emily enjoys games nights with friends and, most importantly, spending time with her beautiful dog Kimbo in the great outdoors.

Matthew Trowill

FINANCE

Matt oversees the internal finance function across the +MORE Group. He ensures the executive team is equipped with accurate financial data, monthly management reports, cash flow forecasts, and all things numbers.

Matt thrives on understanding the numbers and how they drive smart business decisions.

Beyond finance, Matt is passionate about travelling the world and enjoys playing hockey on weekends.

Kirsten Harris

Marketing

Kirsten leads the marketing function across the +MORE Group, shaping the brand and driving growth. She works closely with teams across the business to deliver marketing strategies that support +MORE’s vision, while overseeing brand, content, communications, and campaigns.

Kirsten is passionate about turning insight into action and building strong, consistent brands. She enjoys collaborating with teams to create meaningful marketing that connects with clients and supports business growth.

Outside of work, Kirsten keeps busy with family life, spending weekends watching her kids’ sports, fitting in runs when she can, and making the most of any opportunity to do something new.

Anna Crow

People & Culture

Anna oversees the human resources function across the +MORE Group. She is responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining talent and ensuring that our teams embody our company values and purpose daily.

Anna enjoys getting to know every team member and working with them and their manager to help them achieve their career goals. Seeing employees succeed is what motivates her!

Outside work, Anna loves spending time with her family. She has two teenage boys who love to get out and about – from multi-day bike rides in different parts of the country to catching the latest movie to board games on rainy days.

David is motivated by the +MORE purpose of smarter, better business. David is a strategic transformation and commercial Executive with over 25 years of experience in the finance and technology sectors. His role is to leverage his multinational expertise to ensure the +MORE network delivers daily for our clients and team. To him, nothing is better than seeing clients succeed in their market due to insight and collaboration with our people.

Starting life in the London dealing rooms as a derivatives trader, David’s career has seen him work with major banks worldwide.

Following a six-month program at Stanford Business School, David diversified into strategic leadership roles, building new or amplifying existing divisions of the bank. One of the most challenging but exhilarating periods was launching a start-up data platform as CEO, gaining first-hand insight into business ownership.

Most recently, David was privileged to lead the Xero global sales team, working with teams in many countries focusing on a high-growth commercial mindset.

David has a teenage family that keeps him busy outdoors, with his son cycling in the mountains or roads of New Zealand or supporting his daughter in the dance studio.

John Schol

Director

John has over 25 years of executive, non-executive and chair experience across large, complex organisations in a variety of sectors, including professional services, property, manufacturing, infrastructure, local government, SaaS and not-for-profit.

He has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, holds a Certificate of Public Practice with Chartered Accountants Australia, New Zealand, and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors.  

John specialises in assisting businesses in clearly articulating their vision, strategy, and corresponding goals. His commercial capability to monitor performance against strategic, business, and financial plans helps ensure executive leadership teams manage their businesses appropriately.  

He consults with businesses on strategic, cultural, and organisational change that creates smarter, better businesses. He often works with leaders who are surrounded by uncertainty, disruption, pending technology change, investment opportunities, restructuring, and succession issues.   

John also works closely with numerous local community groups and has given time to facilitate strategic plans with The Graeme Dingle Foundation (Southern), Rugby Southland, Football South, Southland Sharks, Youth Line South, Southland Engineering Cluster, The Pantry and The Grace Street Project.

Dan Henderson

CEO & Managing Director

Dan Henderson is an experienced advisory and accountancy leader with more than 20 years’ experience supporting business owners to drive growth, build resilience, and create long‑term value.

As CEO and Managing Director of the +MORE Group, Dan leads with a deep commercial and technical understanding of the New Zealand SME sector. His leadership is underpinned by a strong commitment to +MORE’s vision of fuelling ambitious business owners through smarter, better business.

Dan is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and holds a Certificate of Public Practice. He is a long‑standing member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, reflecting his strong technical foundation and commitment to professional excellence.

His expertise spans business strategy, leadership, governance, mergers and acquisitions, sales and valuation work, and international company compliance and regulatory analysis. Throughout his career, Dan has played a pivotal role in guiding organisations through complex financial and commercial landscapes. His experience covers businesses of all sizes, from start‑ups through to multi‑national corporations, giving him a well‑rounded perspective across a wide range of industries.

Dan completed his studies in Commerce and Sciences at the University of Otago, before spending ten years with one of the Big Four accounting firms. In 2013, he transitioned into business ownership and went on to establish what is now known as the +MORE Group.

In addition to his executive role, Dan is actively involved in governance and leadership across the profession and wider community. He is the Chair of MGI Australasia, providing strategic leadership within the global MGI Worldwide network, and serves as a Board Member of Variety – the Children’s Charity, supporting improved outcomes for vulnerable Kiwi children.

Stephen Sudbury

Director

Like our name suggests, Director Steve Sudbury has been around since day dot! And while some might say that makes him old, he’d argue he’s more like a fine wine.

He’s just as passionate about making a difference to business as he was the day he launched Sudburys in 1989. Steve’s mission to help businesses achieve results hasn’t changed, and he always gets a kick out of delighting his clients.

Steve’s 30+ years in business mean he is also a trusted advisor in business performance and strategy, leadership and governance. With established relationships in the banking sector, he is often called in to independently assess business viability.

Nikita Tomlinson

Director

Director and Boss Lady, Nikita Tomlinson, is on a mission to change the world one client at a time.

Nikita’s strengths lie in her stealthy ability to put clients at ease while also asking hard questions, drilling down to what it is that clients need to ‘smash their goals’ and create a winning business strategy.

If you want sharper thinking, better results and a clear plan to grow, Nikita is someone you want in your corner. She works across business growth, sales, funding and leadership, bringing strong commercial insight and a practical approach that gets traction. She knows business, understands the numbers and reads the room well, helping people navigate the tough conversations that move a business forward, no matter the size.

Justin Moore

Director

Justin appreciates being able to share his knowledge with clients and he prides himself on assisting business owners with growing businesses and owners that want to set and achieve their goals – whatever those may be.

Having a sound accounting background and practical commercial experience, Justin Moore likes to work with business owners and senior leadership teams to improve their skillsets including their financial understanding.

Justin loves a challenge and a good project - often working with clients with anything business sale or purchase related including valuations and due diligence projects.

Boyd Wiggins

Director

Rugby fan, dad of two, and known for his legendary lunch prep – Boyd brings consistency and insight to everything he does.

Boyd helps take care of the essentials – and then some – working with larger clients on everything from day-to-day accounting to big-picture financial planning. With a calm, considered approach and a knack for spotting the story behind the numbers, he’s a go-to for clients needing clarity and direction.

Whether he’s crunching numbers or coaching from the sidelines, Boyd brings a steady hand, sharp thinking, and just the right fuel to keep him going.

Tracey Henley

Business Manager

Tracey brings energy in every sense of the word - loud, fun, adventurous, and never one to sit still for long. As our Business Manager at Sudburys +MORE, she thrives on variety, problem-solving, and keeping things moving.

With a background as a Senior Business Analyst at a logistics firm, Tracey enjoys digging into challenges, improving processes, and getting across all areas of the business. The diversity of the role is what drew her in - no two days being the same suits her perfectly.

Outside of work, she’s just as full of life: baking, spending time with her pets Boogie and Grace, and enjoying a coconut milk hot chocolate. She also spent three months volunteering in the jungle, which says a lot about her adventurous spirit and willingness to take on anything.

Andrea Emmerson

Business Partner - Rural

Just as comfortable in a swanndri and gumboots as she is in front of a spreadsheet and calculator, Andrea is our resident farming specialist.

Andrea services our farming clients and with her own small-scale angora goat and beef farm, she knows what she’s talking about.

With 20+ years of accounting under her belt, Andrea’s contribution to the Sudburys +MORE team and her clients is invaluable.

Kirsty Trigg

Accountant

Kirsty brings a calm, grounded approach and strong commercial thinking to the team.

Having run her own business, she understands the realities that come with it. She works alongside clients to cut through the noise, get to the heart of what’s going on, and focus on practical ways forward. She’s steady, detail focused, and keeps things moving.

Outside of work, things are a bit more full on. With dogs, chickens, and family spread far and wide, there’s always something happening. When she gets the chance, you’ll find her on the mower with her husband, her way of switching off while still getting stuck in.

Maree Morgan

Accountant

As a kid, Maree wanted to be a number cruncher so she’s living the dream!

Not a lot gets past Maree. Known for her attention to detail, she is thorough, accurate and provides her clients with a high level of service - the perfect person to have working on your accounts.

What you may not know about Maree is that she’s a closet petrol head. If she never had to work a day in her life, you’d find her driving a bonneted Kenworth truck!

Kirsty Neagle

Accountant

Meet Sudburys +MORE very own coffee connoisseur and our Mainland representative!

With significant experience in accounting, Kirsty loves to demystify the numbers for her clients, offering advice and explanations that make sense. She’s a stickler for detail and enjoys the feeling of seeing everything come together – that’s the kind of person you want working on your accounts!

Nilima D'Silva

Accountant

Nilima has been helping clients with their accounting and compliance needs since moving into public practice in 2007. After starting her career in a corporate environment and spending a short time in audit, she discovered her passion was in accounting.

She works with a wide range of clients, preparing annual financial statements, management accounts and GST returns. She also has specialist experience in the not-for-profit sector, preparing Tier 3 financial statements for charities, incorporated societies and charitable trusts.

Outside of work, Nilima enjoys putting her knowledge to the test at a weekly pub quiz, cooking for family and friends, and playing board games with her family—where her competitive streak often comes out. After moving from Auckland to Whangārei five years ago, she's happily embraced the Northland lifestyle.

Claire Lee

Accountant

Claire is currently on maternity leave.

Claire Lee wanted to be an architect growing up. Realising her skill didn’t lie in drawing, she directed her passion for detail, precision and problem solving toward accounting and hasn’t looked back.

From bookkeeping to payroll and annual accounts, Claire does it all adding her insight and analysis along the way.

Claire has completed her Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) qualifications so now that she’s not studying, you’ll find her hunting down good coffee and great eateries in central Auckland where she is based.

Kirsty Menzies

Accountant

With broad experience across accounting and business advisory, Kristy is a Chartered Accountant who takes a practical and approachable approach to helping business owners make sense of their numbers and make better business decisions.

With a strong background in financial reporting, tax and compliance, Kristy enjoys working closely with clients to understand their challenges, solve problems and improve their financial position. She also has experience reviewing and supporting the work of other team members, sharing her knowledge and helping others develop their skills.

For Kristy, accounting is about more than reporting the numbers. It’s about understanding the bigger picture, providing practical advice and helping business owners use their financial information to make informed decisions.

Outside of work, Kristy is an empty nester with four grown-up daughters – and now a dog to keep her company. She enjoys keeping active, getting outdoors, caravan trips and spending time with her partner and friends. She’s also currently putting her hands to renovating an old cottage.

Cecily Gavin

Bookkeeping and Payroll Administrator

Our clients call Cecily the ‘Fairy Godmother’ for good reason. She’s our go to problem solver.

Cecily works closely with our clients on their bookkeeping and payroll, making sure everything is accurate, up to date, and running smoothly behind the scenes.

She keeps things organised, keeps everyone on track, and brings a practical, steady approach to getting things sorted.

Outside of work, Cecily is a proud Grandma to four grandkids, and very much lives up to her Fairy Godmother reputation.

Jules Mcaven

Client Service Administrator

Jules wins the award for the most colourful desk in the Sudburys +MORE office!

If she wasn’t in her current role, Jules might just have trained as a chef! It might not be food, but you’ll still find her serving up excellent customer service and generous portions of a job well done in her role as our Client Service Administrator.

Outside of work, you’ll find Jules unleashing her creativity through gardening and creating her dream home, with plenty of ideas and goals in the works. Sharing the house are Princess and Grace, who rule the roost under the watchful eye of Remy, a golden retriever who loves having play dates with his sister Riley!

Ayla Sudbury

Administration

Not only is Ayla a ray of sunshine at the front desk or on the end of the phone, but she also loves getting involved behind the scenes to help keep things running smoothly. Many will know Ayla as the smiling face at our Sudburys +MORE reception.

Ayla cares deeply about the customer experience, loves working with people and seeing our clients succeed. Always positive and ready to help, Ayla is an essential part of the Sudburys +MORE team.

She’ll also make you a killer cup of coffee next time you’re in for an appointment with our team!

Kelly Campbell

Accounting Administrator

Cool under pressure, master of the inbox, and quietly learning the ukulele – Kelly does it all (with a to do list close by).

Kelly is part of the admin engine room behind the scenes at Sudburys +MORE, keeping things humming smoothly for our team and clients alike. As the EA to our trio of Directors and accounting administrator, she’s the queen of staying calm, getting things done, and making it all look effortless.

With second to none organisation skills and a gentle, get-it-done attitude, Kelly makes the complex feel simple – and we’re all a little more on top of things because of her.
