Virtual CFO Advisory

What is a VCFO?

A VCFO (Virtual Chief Financial Officer) is an experienced finance professional who becomes part of your business - providing the same strategic oversight and financial management as an in-house CFO, but on a flexible, cost-effective basis.

The +MORE virtual CFO service embeds a financial expert directly into your team, working alongside your bookkeeper, accountant, and leadership team to provide clarity, strategy, and direction around every aspect of your business’s financial performance.

In short: it’s CFO-level expertise, without the full-time overhead.

What pain points does VCFO solve?

VCFO is designed for businesses that have grown beyond basic bookkeeping but aren’t ready for a full-time finance hire. Common pain points include:

Unclear financial visibility

Not knowing where the money’s going or what the numbers really mean.

Cashflow challenges

Struggling to predict inflows and outflows or make confident spending decisions.

Stalled growth

Working hard but not seeing profit or progress.

Financial stress

Constantly reacting instead of planning ahead.

Disconnected systems or processes

Too many tools, not enough oversight.

Decision uncertainty

Wanting expert advice to make strategic business calls.
The VCFO model is built to remove that stress and provide business owners with confidence, clarity, and control.

Frequently Asked Questions

A VCFO focuses on the bigger financial picture, strategy, forecasting, and long-term decision-making. While your accountant or bookkeeper manages the day-to-day numbers, a VCFO helps interpret them and provides guidance to drive sustainable growth.

That depends on your needs. Some businesses prefer monthly check-ins for active support, while others opt for quarterly reviews. The service is flexible and can scale up or down as your business evolves.

VCFO services are ideal for growing businesses that have moved beyond basic bookkeeping but aren’t ready for a full-time finance hire. If you’re facing challenges around cashflow, forecasting, or financial visibility, a VCFO can bring the clarity you need.

Absolutely. +MORE Group’s VCFO service is built on collaboration! We work closely with your bookkeeper, accountant, and leadership team to ensure all financial functions align and support your business goals.
