Emily ensures the efficient functioning of the +MORE Group, providing vital support across planning, operations, project management, and risk & compliance.

Outside work, Emily enjoys games nights with friends and, most importantly, spending time with her beautiful dog Kimbo in the great outdoors.

Matt oversees the internal finance function across the +MORE Group. He ensures the executive team is equipped with accurate financial data, monthly management reports, cash flow forecasts, and all things numbers.
Matt thrives on understanding the numbers and how they drive smart business decisions.
Beyond finance, Matt is passionate about travelling the world and enjoys playing hockey on weekends.

Kirsten leads the marketing function across the +MORE Group, shaping the brand and driving growth. She works closely with teams across the business to deliver marketing strategies that support +MORE’s vision, while overseeing brand, content, communications, and campaigns.
Kirsten is passionate about turning insight into action and building strong, consistent brands. She enjoys collaborating with teams to create meaningful marketing that connects with clients and supports business growth.
Outside of work, Kirsten keeps busy with family life, spending weekends watching her kids’ sports, fitting in runs when she can, and making the most of any opportunity to do something new.

Anna oversees the human resources function across the +MORE Group. She is responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining talent and ensuring that our teams embody our company values and purpose daily.
Anna enjoys getting to know every team member and working with them and their manager to help them achieve their career goals. Seeing employees succeed is what motivates her!
Outside work, Anna loves spending time with her family. She has two teenage boys who love to get out and about – from multi-day bike rides in different parts of the country to catching the latest movie to board games on rainy days.

David is motivated by the +MORE purpose of smarter, better business. David is a strategic transformation and commercial Executive with over 25 years of experience in the finance and technology sectors. His role is to leverage his multinational expertise to ensure the +MORE network delivers daily for our clients and team. To him, nothing is better than seeing clients succeed in their market due to insight and collaboration with our people.
Starting life in the London dealing rooms as a derivatives trader, David’s career has seen him work with major banks worldwide.
Following a six-month program at Stanford Business School, David diversified into strategic leadership roles, building new or amplifying existing divisions of the bank. One of the most challenging but exhilarating periods was launching a start-up data platform as CEO, gaining first-hand insight into business ownership.
Most recently, David was privileged to lead the Xero global sales team, working with teams in many countries focusing on a high-growth commercial mindset.
David has a teenage family that keeps him busy outdoors, with his son cycling in the mountains or roads of New Zealand or supporting his daughter in the dance studio.

John has over 25 years of executive, non-executive and chair experience across large, complex organisations in a variety of sectors, including professional services, property, manufacturing, infrastructure, local government, SaaS and not-for-profit.
He has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, is a Fellow Chartered Accountant, holds a Certificate of Public Practice with Chartered Accountants Australia, New Zealand, and is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Directors.
John specialises in assisting businesses in clearly articulating their vision, strategy, and corresponding goals. His commercial capability to monitor performance against strategic, business, and financial plans helps ensure executive leadership teams manage their businesses appropriately.
He consults with businesses on strategic, cultural, and organisational change that creates smarter, better businesses. He often works with leaders who are surrounded by uncertainty, disruption, pending technology change, investment opportunities, restructuring, and succession issues.
John also works closely with numerous local community groups and has given time to facilitate strategic plans with The Graeme Dingle Foundation (Southern), Rugby Southland, Football South, Southland Sharks, Youth Line South, Southland Engineering Cluster, The Pantry and The Grace Street Project.

Dan Henderson is an experienced advisory and accountancy leader with more than 20 years’ experience supporting business owners to drive growth, build resilience, and create long‑term value.
As CEO and Managing Director of the +MORE Group, Dan leads with a deep commercial and technical understanding of the New Zealand SME sector. His leadership is underpinned by a strong commitment to +MORE’s vision of fuelling ambitious business owners through smarter, better business.
Dan is a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) and holds a Certificate of Public Practice. He is a long‑standing member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, reflecting his strong technical foundation and commitment to professional excellence.
His expertise spans business strategy, leadership, governance, mergers and acquisitions, sales and valuation work, and international company compliance and regulatory analysis. Throughout his career, Dan has played a pivotal role in guiding organisations through complex financial and commercial landscapes. His experience covers businesses of all sizes, from start‑ups through to multi‑national corporations, giving him a well‑rounded perspective across a wide range of industries.
Dan completed his studies in Commerce and Sciences at the University of Otago, before spending ten years with one of the Big Four accounting firms. In 2013, he transitioned into business ownership and went on to establish what is now known as the +MORE Group.
In addition to his executive role, Dan is actively involved in governance and leadership across the profession and wider community. He is the Chair of MGI Australasia, providing strategic leadership within the global MGI Worldwide network, and serves as a Board Member of Variety – the Children’s Charity, supporting improved outcomes for vulnerable Kiwi children.

Since joining DVA+MORE in 2014, Matt has been driven by a clear vision to modernise what was once a traditional accounting firm. Drawing on the lessons and successes from that transformation, he now coaches and advises business owners and accountancy firms on strategy, leadership, and technology.
Matt is passionate about empowering clients to build smarter, more successful businesses through practical advisory and forward-thinking solutions. A creative at heart, he finds fulfilment in innovation and collaboration, always motivated by purposeful and meaningful work.
Together with Justin’s leadership, Matt helped guide DVA+MORE’s journey into the +MORE Group, shaping what DVA+MORE represents today. Outside of work, he enjoys playing guitar in New Zealand’s greatest covers band, Slamtowne, and spending time on the boat with his family.

Justin is passionate about helping clients define and achieve their version of success, whether that’s growing wealth through investments, enjoying the independence of owning a business, or building a company for future sale.
His expertise spans business operations, team development, accounting, and tax, with experience ranging from supporting small-to-medium businesses to delivering projects for listed companies.
He was recognised as Advisor of the Year at The Gap Reunion 2024, celebrating his leadership and impact across the advisory community.
Outside of work, Justin enjoys multi-day hikes, managing a backyard beehive, and curating a small but thoughtful wine and whisky collection at home.

With over 15 years in the accounting industry, Stephanie brings extensive experience in financial accounting and taxation. A full member of CAANZ, she enjoys working closely with clients to help them make sense of the numbers and achieve their business goals.
Outside of work, Stephanie loves spending time with her family, especially cheering on her kids at their swimming lessons. She also enjoys gardening and has taken on a fun side project: learning how to give better haircuts to her kids (still a work in progress, but improving!).

With over 10 years’ experience in public practice, Alvin brings extensive expertise across GST, payroll, and client management. Known for his strong grasp of accounting technology and tools, he enjoys helping clients understand their numbers and turn insights into better business decisions.
Passionate about efficiency and continuous improvement, Alvin thrives on finding smarter ways to simplify processes and deliver meaningful outcomes for clients.
Outside of work, Alvin enjoys gaming, watching F1 and NBA, and going for walks with his dog, his favourite way to unwind and recharge.

With a background in finance, Kelly now enjoys the variety across Finance, HR, Payroll and Admin and her day-to-day focus is on ensuring both clients and our team are well looked after.
A natural multitasker, Kelly enjoys helping keep a steady ship — where people, process and numbers meet.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with family and friends and exploring new places, with waking up in a new city being one of her favourite things to do.

Min’s role has allowed her to grow and learn something new every day. She supports the team by assisting with client onboarding, managing communication and scheduling, and ensuring a seamless experience for both clients and the Directors she supports.
Outside of work, Min enjoys spending quality time with her family and her dog, Kai.

Shaina has been part of the DVA+MORE team for almost five years, during which time she has gained extensive experience in marketing, customer service, technology, and leadership. Her role involves supporting both clients and the team, helping clients with their queries, assisting team members with daily tasks, and keeping DVA+MORE’s communications and marketing running smoothly.
She takes pride in delivering the best possible service and ensuring clients feel supported every step of the way.
Outside of work, Shaina loves being a mum to her daughter and spending time in the kitchen, cooking is one of her favourite ways to relax and connect with family and friends.

With over five years’ experience as an Administration Assistant, Grace has built strong expertise across trust administration, client support, and reporting. A career highlight was successfully streamlining the Trust Administration process and improving efficiency for the Registered Office team.
Grace is known for her attention to detail and her ability to build strong client relationships. She supports accountants with compliance and reporting, manages client records and portals, and helps ensure a smooth experience across teams.
Outside of work, Grace enjoys watching basketball and cooking shows, reading fiction, and spending time with her three kids.

Marion has been part of the DVA+MORE team for almost three years, during which time she has gained solid experience across accounting and client support. In her role, she works closely with the team to support the preparation of GST returns, payroll, annual accounts, and tax returns.
As a Client Service Coordinator, Marion also liaises with clients to gather accurate information and keep annual accounts processes running smoothly.
Outside of work, Marion enjoys spending time at home with her husband, sharing good food and movies, and catching up with friends over coffee.

Crisline works closely with clients and the wider team to ensure financial information is accurate, timely, and supports sound business decision-making.
She is committed to building strong professional relationships with clients and takes pride in delivering reliable financial reports that help organisations achieve their goals.
Outside of work, Crisline enjoys spending time with her dog, catching up with close friends and family, and getting outdoors to enjoy nature trips.

Keeping morale high and tails wagging, Pepper and Floyd are the real bosses around here. Between greeting visitors, supervising snack breaks, and ensuring the team takes regular walk breaks, our Chief Barking Officers make sure the office runs smoothly (and never quietly). Whether they’re snoozing under a desk or announcing the courier’s arrival, they bring plenty of personality – and a reminder to enjoy the little things.
